Cookie policy
Last updated 25 October 2026
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Your browser can also keep small bits of data called local storage and session storage. This page lists everything opusautomations.com saves in your browser and what you can switch off. Questions go to team@opusautomations.com.
The short version
- We currently set no optional cookies. No analytics, no advertising, no trackers.
- We save three small things, all needed for the site to work the way you expect.
- The cookie notice records your choice. If we ever add an optional tool, it stays off until you accept.
What we save
All three are necessary, so they are saved without asking.
| Name | Where | Set by | Why | How long | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
opus-cookie-consent | Cookie | Us | Remembers what you chose on the cookie notice. | 12 months | Necessary |
opus-theme | Local storage | Us | Remembers light or dark. Only saved if you press the theme button. | Until you clear it | Necessary |
screening_<role> | Session storage | Us | A random ID for the job application chat, so refreshing the page does not lose your conversation. Set when you open the application chat on a job page. | Until you close the tab | Necessary |
Nothing is set until you do the thing it belongs to: the cookie choice when you answer the notice, the theme when you press the theme button, and the chat ID when you open the application chat on a job page.
Optional cookies
There are none today. The notice still lets you accept or reject them, and we record that, so that any optional tool we add later (analytics, for example) respects your choice from day one. It will not run until you accept. We will list it in the table above and update the date at the top when that happens.
Other companies
- Our “Book a call” links go to Calendly. Nothing from Calendly is loaded on our pages, but once you click through, Calendly's own cookies apply. See its privacy notice.
- Our fonts are served from our own site, so loading them does not contact another company.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page, or the button below, to open the notice again and pick something else. If you clear your browser's cookies, we will ask again next time. We ask again after 12 months anyway.
More
How we handle personal data more broadly is in our privacy policy.
